Halos n Horns is the marketing research website of Halos n Horns brand of kids’ toiletry products. The company came into being in 2005 when a young entrepreneur and mother of a toddler, Leila Wilcox, noticed that her son Troy’s skin broke into rashes and developed irritation soon after using the available bath products. This instigated her to start researching the harsh chemicals that were used normally in the toiletries made for kids. She later launched her own brand that was free of chemicals at 'Make Me a Million', prime time show for Channel 4 in UK.
Chemicals that were identified as harmful are Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), Lanolin, Phthalates, MIT, Parabens, Triclosan and Propylene glycol. In 2006 UK's leading health and beauty outsourcing sales and marketing company Ceuta Healthcare, took over the distribution of Halos n Horns products.
Company invites parental views through interactions for R&D purposes.
